When the others turned around to look, they saw Amy lying on the ground surrounded by blood. Jamie covered her body in plastic, weighted it with cinder blocks, and tossed the body into Shoe Pond. He then blackmailed and threatened the friends who had seen the crime to keep quiet about it.
